Futurevation – The Club
“We’ve experienced more change in the past 2 years than in the previous 20 years and in the next 10 years we’ll experience the equivalent of 100 years of change! Belt up, because we’re in for quite a ride!”
Changing the past is impossible. Effecting the future is imperative, so why do we spend most of our time in business fixated on what has already been and what we have already had, and not on what opportunities are ahead.
The Futurevation Club - co founded by Morris Miselowski, is a membership based entrepreneurial cooperative, focused on the future of business innovation.
By focussing on the future and bringing innovation to the forefront, we collectively horizon scan tomorrow’s business landscape, defining, understanding, shaping and sharing what lies ahead to gain insights and seize tomorrow’s opportunity’s first.
The Futurevation Club meets quarterly for a three hour interactive forum to discover, scope, learn and apply what’s ahead, with a format that includes:
1. a presentation from an external expert on the theme of choice for the month, 2. a workshop – using practical tools, and 3. a closed session where members draw on each other and Futurevation experts to innovate their thinking, management, business, brands and products.
Presenters for the first and second component of the session are varied, offering best practice and bleeding edge insights in their specialty area.
Bolted on to these quarterly forums are a number of full day workshops and strategy sessions spread throughout the year and ground swell events that are built around “bleeding edge” information, speakers, and activities that spring up as and when are needed - we never know when they’ll run or how often, but when they do; you’ll want to come along.
There’s also a future oriented online community (due July 2009) that you can tap into anytime, anywhere. This ever growing live and immediate space is ripe with discussions, links, readings, insights, case studies, trends and conversations that are always laser focused on what business of tomorrow and beyond may look and feel like.
Futurevation is an ever growing network on and off line. Its offerings are constantly changing and morphing to meet and shape the needs of its members and to ensure that we know what’s ahead before others do. That we’re working on how apply it to our businesses long before the mainstream marketplace even knows about it; and that we’re profiting from it long before our competition can.
